Moscow regional Office of Public Prosecutor examined house-building companies, which obtained funds from private investors. Ground for examination served complaints of cheated citizens and their numerous protest actions. Facts of swindling are confirmed. At present moment constructions of 93 objects near Moscow are suspended. Several companies, which collected milliards of rubles from citizens on house-building, used money for indirect purposes. Criminal actions were revealed from side of local authorities` representatives, who gave permits for illegal house-building. By words of Moscow prosecutor Sergey Vasiliev, 23 criminal proceedings were instituted. As a result of check-up the head of company, which built apartment complex in Himki, was detained. Actions are brought against another 5 leaders of construction companies. All victims of swindlers are advised to return money through court.
