Transport plane C-130 Hercules has crashed down onto residential area in Teheran. According to provisional data, there were 10 crew members and 80 passengers on board. The crash occurred at about 1:10 p.m. Moscow time, when the plane tried to make emergency landing in Mehrabad airport. The building was reported to be in flames and emergency services rushed to the scene. The plane is said to hit a 10-storey building, the building being in flames. Emergency services rushed to the scene, among them three fire-brigades, 20 ambulance cars and three rescue helicopters. All the passengers and the crew are presumably dead, although there have been no immediate casualty figures.
