By latest official information, 105 people died and 50 got injuries of different weight as a result of military-transport airplane C-130 catastrophe in Iran. On the board of Iranian Navy airplane there were 10 members of crew and 84 passengers, including military officials and journalists of leading Iranian mass media, who flew to south of the country for informational coverage of military trainings. Airplane flew out of Teheran at about 13:00 by Moscow time and headed to Iranian town Bandar-Abbes. 8 minutes after take off pilot informed about problems with engines and requested urgent landing. Plane turned back to Teheran airport but didn`t reach it, lost height and collided with 10-storied apartment house. Collapse caused powerful fire at the lower floors of the house and destroyed part of the wall. Rescuers, arrived to place of catastrophe, couldn`t stop the fire for several hours. As a result of crash all passengers and crew members of C-130 have died. Among victims are the head of Iranian Armed Forces propaganda administration, brigade general Abbes Vaisi. Another 11 people - residents of 10-storied building and passer-bys - became victims of tragedy. Bodies are burnt and special expertise is needed for personality identifications. By present moment 19 bodies are identified. Moreover, by official information, 50 people f\got injuries of different weight. 28 injured are hospitalized to Iranian hospitals in severe state. By information of several Iranian mass medias, 116 people have died as a result of accident. It was established that C-130 airplane crash was caused by malfunction of engines during flights though plane underwent total technical control and was ready to flight. At present moment all rescue works are finished, fragments of plane and destroyed house are being cleared. Iranian president Mahmud Ahmadinejad presented condolences to relatives of victims.
