Such conclusion gives a research based on the poll of first-rate world companies’ executives by the international consulting company "AT Kearney". Russia took 11th place in the similar research published on march of this year. China won first place in the rating which was published today, four years running. India managed to leave USA behind and took second place. USA took third line. Great Britain still remains on fourth place. Poland took fifth place unexpectedly and Russia - sixth. The experts of the company notice investors’ increasing interest to markets of Eastern Europe. So, Hungary took 11th place by investment attraction, Czechia - 12th, Romania - 25th. West-european countries, conversely lose their positions: in 2000-2004 at least to countries belonged to first ten but now there are only two - Great Britain (4th place) and Germany (9th place). It was noticed in AT Kearney’s press release that the leaders of 54% of first-rate world companies are going to increase foreign investments in 2006. That is the highest index since 2000. Unfortunately sentiments of primary investors for world economics are pessimistic on the whole. Only 36% look to the future with optimism whereas 70% adhered to such position. The world range of direct foreign investment increased by 2% in 2004 as compared with the index of the year before and was $648 b. This was the first positive change since 2000. According to data of Federal service of state statistics total volume of foreign investment in Russian economics was $90.8 b in the end of June, 37.4% more than in 2004. The part of direct investment was 46.1% (40.7%), portfolio investment was 1.8% (2.1%). $16.5 b of foreign investment went to Russian economics in first half year of 2005, that is 13.1% lower than in first half year of 2004.
