Kazakhstan intends to launch 4 communication satellites by 2012 and together with Russia - 4 satellites of earth reconnaissance, informed the head of "Kazcosmos" Serik Turjanov. "Kazakhstan intends to create 3 groups of satellites by 2011-2012 - communication satellites, of distance earth sounding, and several satellites of global information system", declared Turjanov in Astana. By information of "Kazcosmos" head, first group will consist of 4 space communication satellites. "Premier charged to create communication satellites to provide enough television, radio, telephone and multimedia communication channels", - emphasized Turjakov.
