Russian scientists suggest simple method of struggle with global warming
It is possible to prevent global warming by reducing amount of sun rays, reaching the Earth - as a result temperature of planet will decrease.

It is possible to prevent global warming by reducing amount of sun rays, reaching the Earth - as a result temperature of planet will decrease.
This hypothesis belongs to director of Global Climate and Ecological Institute of Russian hydrometeorology and Russian Academy of Sciences Yurii Israel.
"To control climate one needs to inject aerosol substances into lower stratosphere, which will absorb part of sunlight. This will reduce influence of Sun on planet surface", - explained he on press-service.
The scientist predicts increase of temperature on planet by 1-5 degrees for next century. It will lead to droughts, cyclones, floods and ecological catastrophes.
"Temperature on Earth can be decreased by 1-2 degrees by burning 100-200 thousands tons of sulfur in stratosphere. It is also possible by using highly-sulphureous fuel in high-altitude airplane. This will provide decrease of troposphere temperature", - said Yurii Israel.
Academician Israel reassured that sulfur negatively influences human health. "Estimates revealed that decrease of sun radiation near Earth surface will amount to less than 1%. Annual amount of aerosol, ejected to Earth surface, will be 0.2 mg of sulfur per sq. meter, that is 1000 times less than sulfur content in ordinary atmospheric precipitations", - explained he.
Scientist affirms that method of global warming prevention, developed by academician Mikhail Budynko earlier, "is safe for health, cheaper and more effective than measures, provided by Kiotsky protocol, which regulates volunteer reduction of hothouse gases` exhausts by developed countries.
