Russia and Japan agreed to carry on dialogue in new format, informed Japan diplomatic source. By his words, this format, called as "strategic conversation" from Japan side, will operate on 2 levels. "Japan side will be represented in political consultations by the head of Japan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Russian - by secretary of Security Council Igor Ivanov", - noted the source. Agreement about new dialogue was achieved within the frames of Russian-Japanese summit in November in Tokyo. Similar consultations Tokyo carries with main partners, USA in particular.
