According to the provisional data, south-east Moscow colony roof collapse was caused by committed errors on the stage of construction. Moscow Office of Public Prosecutor reported, that when constructing the building in 1956, several errors were made, in particular, the joining of bearing structure was accomplished incorrectly. The engineering documents of the building were withdrawn. By the fact of collapse, Moscow Office of Public Prosecutor has opened a criminal case on article 293 "Dereliction of duty" of Russian Federation Criminal Code. Earlier, the roof was supposed to collapse because of the heavy snow. Collapse of roof and floor took place in 2-storied industrial building of reformatory, situated on Upper fields, 65. Area of collapse was 50 sq. meters. 10 people got injuries, three people killed, as a result of accident. At present moment a question about allocation of prisoners is solved.
