Days off on New Year`s holiday may be cut
The head of the Russian Duma Labour and Social policy Committee Andrey Isayev said, the days off on New Year`s holiday may be cut in favour of days off in May.

The head of the Russian Duma Labour and Social policy Committee Andrey Isayev said, the days off on New Year`s holiday may be cut in favour of days off in May.
According to him, the Committee is planning to consider the question of transferring one day from January to May.
"For example, May 2 may be a day off. To my mind it`s an attractive idea. Other changes are not expected in the nearest future", said Isayev. On his opinion, long New Year`s holidays are reasonable. "After the Autumn working period people need to have real rest, that`s why it`s been decided to transfer the days off to the New Year`s holidays", explained he.
"All New Year’s tours are practically sold out. Now people have time and allow to celebrate New Year in different surroundings", said Isayev.
