Outgoing year 2005 is one of the warmest on Earth since 1971.
Especially high were average month temperatures in eastern regions of North America and above Atlantic ocean, also in Siberia and North Europe. This was announced by meteorological administration of Japan after analysis of temperature data in more than 100 regions world-wide.
In opinion of Japan experts, average air temperature on Earth this year was by 0.33 degrees higher comparing with period from 1971 to 2000. In Japan this parameter reached 0.4 degrees. Meteorologists connect increase of temperature with climate warming because of hothouse gases` - carbonic, in particular - concentration growth in atmosphere and also with natural cyclic recurrence in temperature.
Data of Japan meteorological service must be precise. Unlike previous years Japan meteorologists measured not only temperature of air but also of water surface this year.
