Federal Security Service denounced criminal groups, preparing terrorist attacks in Novosibirsk and Volgograd. "A criminal group of three people, performing preparatory work for terrorist attacks against state institutions, has been detected", said the Federal Security Service Director Nikolai Patrushev at the meeting with Russian leading mass-media chief executives. He revealed the names of arrested people, these are Baluyev, Kazakov, Rusakov. Patrushev informed about 40 kg of explosives withdrawn from the terrorists hiding-place. Federal Security Service Director also told about detection of 18 people suspected in preparation of terrorist attacks in Volgograd region.
