46.136 milliards rubles, including 54.342 milliards rubles from federal budget and 9.794 milliards from other sources, were granted for development of Russian culture in 2006-2010. This is stated in federal purpose program "Culture of Russia (2006-2010)", approved by premier-minister. Therefore, government granted additional 10 milliards for cultural necessities. Ministry of Culture from its side applied for thrice higher sum - 178 milliards of rubles. From 64,136 milliards of rubles 42.5 milliards must be spent on capital investments, 344.3 millions - on investigation and research-constructional works, 21.292 milliards - on other needs. According to the program, for 4 years part of cultural heritage objects in satisfactory condition must increase by 33.5%, part of restored unique and representing a special value historical records - by 3%, part of historical records in conditions of eternal storage - by 21%, part of museum exponents presented for audience - by 15%. Moreover, growth of creative debuts and innovation projects is expected on level of 18%. Part of national films in general distribution must grow to 22%, was said in document.
