Chechen doctors couldn`t establish the cause of mass disease among children from Staroglazovskaya Cossack village in Shelkovsky region of the republic. "After examination of children and necessary analyses doctors didn`t reveal the cause of poisoning. Therefore, committee, investigating the case, decided to invite specialists-toxicologists with special equipment from Rostov-na-Donu and Moscow", - informed the head of state committee, responsible for investigation, Vasily Boriskin. By his words, radioactive background has been measured in school and other buildings of the village. Background agrees with natural, noted Boriskin. New cases of poisoning have not been registered. Condition of poisoned children and 2 teachers is estimated as satisfactory. 3 girls still stay in Chechen Republic children clinical hospital. Chechen vice-minister of health protection Sultan Alimhadjuev informed that patients have got necessary medical help and are transferred to ordinary ward. Symptoms of asphyxia and cramps are over. The head of Shelkovsky regional administration Husein Nusaev insists that food can not be cause of disease - none of children ate in school canteen. Moreover, symptoms are characteristic for poisoning with toxic compounds of neuroparalytic and psychotropic actions", - said Nutaev. Meanwhile, doctors can not diagnose the disease without results of analyses.
