Gryzlov: Russia needs program of compatriot` migration
Speaker of State Duma Boris Gryzlov considers that large economic projects of Siberia and Far East development can be attractive for citizens of ex-Soviet republics.

Speaker of State Duma Boris Gryzlov considers that large economic projects of Siberia and Far East development can be attractive for citizens of ex-Soviet republics.
"Large economic projects in Siberia and Far East can be attractive for people. There is work there not only for Russian citizens but for our compatriots from ex-Soviet countries, and even for foreigners, who are ready and eager to apply for temporary job", - said Gryzlov to journalists.
He noted that Russia is interested in labour power industrial intake from abroad. "But those, who come to us, must not break our law", - emphasized Gryzlov. In his opinion following the rules, including tax payments, will provide migrants with necessary social guarantees.
"Migration legislation can be light, - continued Gryzlov. - But control over law observance must be strict". In this view speaker of State Duma pointed at necessity of migration law modernization. In his opinion, demographic situation in the country doesn`t let any delays in changing of migration and citizenship legislation.
"We consider our compatriots, people of our culture, who stayed in other republics after USSR dissolution, as main resource for improvement of demographic situation in Russia", - said Gryzlov.
He reminded that State Duma has passed presidential amendments to law about citizenship, which prolong simplified regulations of Russian citizenship granting to people from ex-USSR.
Gryslov also reminded that December 18 is an International day of migrant.
