The Chairman of the state Duma Committee on international Affairs Alexei Pushkov, in his interview to TV channel "Russia 24" offered to turn off gas supplies to Ukraine after the attack of the Embassy and of the scandal with Russian foreign Minister Andrei Dedica. "I am of the opinion that Russia should proceed to the sanctions against Ukraine. I am inclined to think that it's time to finish all negotiations on gas. The MP also convinced that the United States is interested in the growth of the incident between Ukraine and Russia, creation of the atmosphere of the "cold war"that will allow them to build for himself" all the European powers: "I directly perceive the failure of Western States in the security Council to consider unrealistic". Remember that more than 200 people on 14 June staged a picket near the house of the Russian Embassy in Kyiv. The Ukrainian authorities have not taken action to prevent unrest at the Russian mission.
