Wooden school roof collapsed today in the morning in Grigorievo village in Perm region. Local administration of the department for Civil Defense and Emergency in Nytvensky district reports that the roof collapse occurred over the gym, at the time of physical training lesson. However, due to timely actions on the side of teachers, children 17 in number were evacuated. Nobody was hurt. At the moment, the Near-Kama Emergency Minisitry operational group stays at the scene in case of further collapse, there is also the head of Perm region Oleg Chirkunov and the Head of district administration. According to the specialists, the school roof was made of wood. Provisional data says the collapse is caused by the beam decay. The building needed reconstruction, being built in 1964. On December 4 in Chusovoy town the swimming pool roof collapse occurred, resulting in 14 people death.
