Voronezh regional hemotransfusion station has been operation suspended, informs Boris Salamatin, the regional administration of Federal Service for Human Health Protection deputy administrator in Voronezh region. According to him, the Public health central administrative board of Voronezh region received letter from the Federal Service for Human Health Protection with demand to suspend the station operation, on which bases the appropriate order was issued. "The station operation is suspended for the period of elimination of revealed defects. Maximum term of defects elimination is 6 months. If the defects don’t eliminated during this period, the case will be taken to court. However, I believe, it won`t happen ", said Solomakhin. The station operation has been suspended on the reason of infecting a woman, and possibly a child with HIV during hemotransfusion.
