The cause of Chechen citizens` poisoning can be ethylene glycol compound, revealed in blood of victims. This was informed by head of Dagestan chemical laboratory of forensic medical examination Muminat Khadjaeva. "We found toxic ethylene glycol in presented samples of analyses. But these are not final results, we continue tests and hope to finish the research by evening", - she said. By Khadjaeva`s words, ethylene glycol, revealed in blood of poisoned people, is a very toxic substance, which is used at tanneries and in textile industry. Ethylene glycol is also a part of antifreezes, braking and other technical fluids. "It is hard to say how the substance could get into blood of victims", - commented the analyses the head of laboratory. She also added that samples of analyses were also checked on presence of carboxyhemoglobin. "The rest of examinations are carried out at present moment. Chechen doctors have been already informed about results of first tests", - said Khadjaeva. Amount of poisoned in Chechnya people has reached 83. Last night another girl with symptoms of severe intoxication was hospitalized to Shelkovskaya hospital. 4 children were hospitalized to Groznyy children clinic.
