Members of gang, who robbed well-to-do citizens in near-Moscow pretending as policemen, were sentenced to long term of imprisonment. The bandits appeared to be 4 citizens of Kaluzhskaya oblast - ex-sportsmen Mikhail Andreev, Andrey Seregin, Andrey Manakov and Algiz Saduev. "While committing the crimes bandits introduced themselves as police workers and made their way into the house unimpeded. Threatening with weapon, they put the owners in manacles and robbed the property", - was said in report of Office of Public Prosecutor. Among stolen things are jewelries, valuable things and expensive automobiles, such as Mercedes-500, Toyota Land Cruiser 100, Audi ТТ, Lexus RX-300. The robbers operated in period from October 2002 till April 2003 on territory of Naro-Fominsky district in Moscow region. Juries have sentenced Andreev to 12 years of imprisonment in correctional institutions of strict regime, Seregin - to 9 years. The remaining 2 men were declared irresponsible and sent on compulsory treatment.
