The Ukrainian government has allocated 16.8 million dollars for the purchase of military equipment and means of protection. On the allocated means law enforcement structures expects to acquire, in particular, for the purchase of armoured vehicles of class BTR-E. The interior Ministry of Ukraine expects to spend on the purchase of military equipment and means of protection of almost 200 million UAH, which is 16.8 million dollars. It is told that the allocated funds will be procured armored vehicles of class BTR-Th Ukrainian production, means of individual protection and active defense. Among other things will be bought clothing property, property for food service and camouflage form field. The government has instructed the Ministry of Finance to make the cost of using funds of the reserve Fund of the state budget, ITAR-TASS reported. About a similar amount you expect to spend on the armament of the military involved in military operations in the South-East of Ukraine stated the Parliament earlier. Previously the state security Council of Ukraine was informed that the armed forces expect to get about thousand armored personnel carriers. Currently, it became known that personnel carriers, which will become the security forces, are of Ukrainian origin. The payment of their purchase will be made from the state Treasury of Ukraine. New weapons and means of protection may need the interior Ministry to settle the border of Ukraine and Russia. Ukraine continues to increase its military forces on the border. According to the version of Secretary of the Council Andrei Parubiy, at the briefing on June 16 was adopted a number of decisions connected with strengthening of border protection of Ukraine and Russia. "Instructed the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to organize a unilateral demarcation of the Ukrainian-Russian state border, to provide relevant technical arrangement in accordance with current threats to state security," he said at the meeting. Parubiy added: "Among those decisions should be noted the construction of engineering buildings along our border and the necessary measures for the exploration relatively neutralization of terrorists who are on the territory of Ukraine". He stressed that the construction of engineering structures and the demarcation of the border are planned in all areas of Ukrainian-Russian border, and not only in those areas where the fighting. In addition the Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine may be involved in the strengthening of forces in the Russian-Ukrainian border. To stay in the South-East of Ukraine, the security forces will need protection and armored vehicles.
