Belarus to receive gas by old price in new year
Gazprom Deputy Board Chairman Alexander Ryazanov and the general director of Belarus state gas company Beltransgaz signed the agreement on gas supply and transit to Belarus in 2006. According to this agreement, the price of gas is to constitute $46,68/a thousand of cubic meters. Volume of delivery constitutes 21 billion cubic meters of natural gas, which correspond to volume and price conditions on which Gazprom worked with Belarus in 2005.

Agreement in principle on conditions of Russian gas supply to Belarus has become known in April 2005. Then President Putin said that price of gas for Belarus would remain unchanged.
