Many Russian films, released during last years, turned to be unprofitable. This conclusion was made by specialists of Calculating chamber of Russian Federation. Auditors have checked the activity of "Russian cinema distribution", which was created specially for support of national films. Release of Russian films through this organization was by 70% financed from federal budget. But even this sufficient support didn`t help. Expenses from distribution of national films 6 times exceeded the profits. In opinion of auditors, films were not demanded among Russian audience because of poor commercial.
