Delegates of State Duma suppose that Ukrainian authorities create problem in gas issue in order to win the parliamentarian election. "Crisis situation between Russia and Ukraine in gas sphere is caused by necessity of Victor Yushenko to provide victory in forth-coming parliamentarian election, presenting Russia in image on external enemy and uniting allies around his personality this way", - thinks vice-chairman of State Duma budget committee Igor Igoshin. In opinion of delegate, present Ukrainian authorities didn`t succeed in politics and economics and now they set a goal to win the election at any price. "Ukraine suppose that it will have Russia and countries of EU by throat because of gas pipeline, - declared Igoshin. - Such position can lead to external debts and threat of default". Vice-speaker of State Duma and leader of LDPR Vladimir Zhirinovsky supposes that "position of Kiev in gas issue testifies about political crisis in Ukraine, final failure of Yushenko`s influence". "Victor Yushenko uses all means to save position blaming Russia for all economic problems of his country", - thinks Zhirinovsky. Vice-chairman of State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin considers that "position of Ukraininan authorities harms Ukrainian citizens and national economics". "Instead of negotiations with "Gazprom" Ukraine started unacceptable in co-operation between 2 countries stealing of gas. It arises not only Russian but European consumer`s indignation", - emphasized Volodin. In opinion of parliamentarian, "position of Russian government in such situation is absolutely correct and is directed at development of market relationships between the countries, protection of interests of large state company". "At present moment none of the country can allow to work at a loss, subsidizing economics of the other country. When we sell gas by price lower than the market one, our citizens - budget workers and pensioners - suffer", - noted Volodin. The delegate reminded that average price on gas in Europe exceeds $230 for thousand of cubic meters and Ukrainian government "resells Russian gas to Romania at price of $265 per thousand of cubic meters". From his turn leader of political party "Rodina" Dmitry Rogozin suggested to account cost of unauthorized taken Russian gas as an external debt.
