Vladimir Putin approved the amendments to Federal law "About state regulation of ethyl alcohol containing products` production and circulation ", which provide strengthening of federal executive authority`s control over production and circulation of alcohol. This was informed by press-service of Russian president. According to amendments, the government sets regulations on special federal and excise labels` preparation, price formation, identification marking. Transition period for validity of excise labels of old standard has been introduced - importers can bring their production to Russia by April 1 and to sell it by July 1, 2006. This term is determined by introduction of United state automatic informational accounting system of ethyl alcohol containing products` circulation from July 1, 2006.
