Armenia will spend more than $110 thousands on preventive measures against "bird flu" spread in republic. This was informed by head of Armenian State veterinary inspection Gregory Bagyan. By his words, disinfection of arriving transport is realized at all custom examination posts of the country. Moreover, 50 thousands of vaccine doses, enough for inoculation of 1 adult and 2 baby birds, were purchased immediately after first cases of wild birds and poultry death. Another 551 thousands doses will bought from Russian within next days. Bagyan assured that there is no ground for panic because no cases of "bird flu" were registered on territory of Armenia and government took all possible preventive measures.
