Ukrainian Parliament (Verkhovna Rada) has made the decision about Yekhanurov’s government resignation. On Tuesday the deputies has passed corresponding decree. Yekhanurov is charged to form the new Cabinet. The document, passed on results of Ukraine and Russia gas agreements debates, was approved by 250- out of 450 deputies. According to the changes in Constitution, having come into force since January 1, 2006, Ukrainian Parliament has the right to make a decision about Government resignation and assign the new one. The draft was submitted by fraction "Ne tak", which is in strong opposition to President Victor Yuschenko. Ukrainian Parliament accepted Yekhanurov assignment for the post of the Prime minister on September 22, 2005. The former Ukrainian Government with Yulia Timoshenko as Prime Minister was resigned on September, 8.
