Chelyabinsk Zoo has been prepared to forthcoming frost. According to weather forecasts, in Southern Ural region the temperature may fall below - 40oC next week. In this connection, all Zoo services has started to work 24 hours a day, heaters are bought and prepared to work, thermophilic animals are moved to heated cages. Monkeys and lions cannot stand cold: they start to behave uneasily and suffer a lot. Their cages are especially carefully treated and heated with additional heaters.
