2 avalanches were registered on west coast of Sakhalin on Thursday. This was informed by press-service of head administration of Russian Emergency Ministry over the region. Snow masses fell on automobile road between Nevelsk town and miner`s village Shebunino. "The width of first avalanche came to 10 meters, the height reached 2 meters. The second avalanche was twice larger - with width being 20 meters and height reaching 4 meters", - informed the source. There are no victims. 3 snow-ploughs clean snow-drifts at present moment. There are 78 dangerous in avalanche respect places on west and east coasts of the island. All of them are situated near automobile roads and railway.
