Local Authorities recommend to introduce shortened workday on Friday because of snowfall in Vladivostok. As Vladivostok administration informs, chairman of city committee over emergency situations Yurii Koren appealed to presidents of enterprises and organizations of all forms of property with suggestion to introduce shortened workday for workers, not involved in life support of the town. In the view of worsening of weather conditions - strengthening of north wind and snowfall - it is recommended to dismiss workers until 14:00 by local time. Weather forecasters predict that it will be snowing all day of January 13 and night of January 14 in Vladivostok with wind being 16-20 m/s. There are snow drifts and icy conditions of roads. Snow-removal equipment operates on roads. Federal high way Habarovsk-Vladivostok and streets with public transportation services are cleaned.
