Alexander Koptsev, accused in synagogue attack on January 11, where he wounded 9 people, has admitted that he committed the crime because oÁ his intolerance to Hebrews. The press-service of the Prosecutor`s Office reported Koptsev to admit his "intolerance to Hebrews, and that he envies them, because of their better life standard; … he made the decision on the influence by appropriate books and web-sites…on January 11 he made the decision to attack Hebrews in the synagogue, went to fulfill it and couldn’t control himself" At the interrogation the accused has also declared that he is sorry about the injured and doesn’t wish them to die. "One of the factors of the accident was my strong wish to die", said Koptsev. As it was informed earlier, on Friday Koptsev was arraigned for "murderous assault on two and more people on national and religious hatred motives" (part 3, Article 30, part 2, Article 105 of the RF Criminal Code), "actions intended to a group of people dignity humiliation on national and religious grounds" (part 2, Article 282) and "bodily injury causation on religion hostility motives" (part 3, Article 111).
