Russian Firdaus Kabirov on KamAZ (Naberezhnie Chelny, Tatarstan) has won penultimate stage of "Dakar-2006" rally, informed organizers of competitions in telephone conversation. 14-th stage Tambakunda-Dakar with total length of 567 km, including 348 km of special route, took place on Saturday. "KamAZ" of Kabirov finished first with result of 3 hours 15 minutes and 43 seconds. Second place took Dutch Hans Stacey on MAN lorry with result 03:18:40 (2 minutes and 57 seconds behind the leader). Third place took Brazilian Andre de Axevedo on "Tatra" lorry with result of 03:19:56 (4 minutes 13 seconds behind). "KamAZ" of Russian Vladimir Chagin was 4-th - 03:28:03 (12 minutes and 2 seconds behind). By results of 14 stages of super marathon "Lissabon-Dakar-2006" leadership in lorry class still belongs to crew of Chagin with result of 71:22:16. Stacey is on second position - 73:43:25 (2 hours 21 minutes 9 seconds behind), Kabirov is on third - 74:28:08 (3 hours 5 minutes 52 seconds behind). Final stage Dakar-Dakar will take place on Sunday. Total length of 15-th stage is 110 km, including 31 km of special route.
