Negotiations between command of Russian Black Sea Fleet and Ukrainian side about Yalta lighthouse produced no effect. This was informed by deputy command-in-chief of Russian Navy, captain of 1 rank Igor Dygalo. "Negotiations ended without result. The head of Yalta port didn`t admit that Russian side rented lighthouse, though this fact was supported by appropriate documents and Russia paid rent regularly". Dygalo emphasized that position of General Headquarters of Russian Navy on this issue remains the same. "The lighthouse should be returned in use of Russian side, its functioning should resume for security of the Fleet", - said Dygalo.
