Russia successfully prepares chairmanship in "G8" - "both organization and essence of the meeting". This was announced by French minister of Foreign Affairs Philip Dust-Blazi, who arrived to Russia with official visit.

As Dust-Blazi has said, France wishes to assist in success of first Russian chairmanship in "G8". Paris is interested in issues, Russia included to the agenda of forth-coming meeting.
"Issue of energetic security is very important in current economic conditions", - announced Dust-Blazi. French-Russian relationships, by words of minister, "were always on high level of trust and consent", and term of "privileged partnership" characterizes the level of interstate dialogue the most. "The evidence of that is close friendly relationships between presidents Jacques Chirac and Vladimir Putin".
French minister is convinced that "our relationships will improve with development of economic cooperation, particularly in sphere of high technologies such as aerospace industry, digital television, energy and transport.
