Driver of sank minibus `Gazel` charged
Pavlovsky district of Nizhny Novgorod region Prosecutor`s Office has brought a charge against Constantine Grodchannikov, the driver of the minibus `Gazel`, sank in the Oka river on January 17. The charge has been brought on the article 264 of the Russian Federation Criminal Code (`Rules of the road violation, which brought to death of two and more people`). According to Criminal Code, 7 years of imprisonment threatens to the accused.

Earlier, it was informed, that on January 17, the bus `Gazel` with 14 people came down under ice and sank 40 meters from the bank.
The accident took place in the area of the Oka river crossing. The vehicle sank at the depth of 4 meters.
Eight passengers and the driver managed to escape the sinking car. Six people, including two women, stayed inside the bus and died. People were going to work to Moscow from Vorsoma town.
It turned out, that the driver decided to save time and money: he didn`t go to the ferry, and directed the bus to the river ice.
