President of Kosovo Inragim Rugova died today in capital of krai Prishtina. This was officially announced by Kosovo government. 62-year old president of Kosovo and leader of movement for separation of krai from Serbia was sick of lung cancer diagnosed in 2005. "Authorities don`t disclose information of Rugova`s death on purpose in order to prepare to shock response of the society", - declared the source close to the president. Numerous manifestations of grief are expected in Kosovo, additional police forces operate on streets. Ibragim Rugova headed Albanian campaign of resistance to Serbian expansion in Kosovo. Earlier he created underground Albanian leadership, which was engaged in advance of Albanian language in educational institutions and improvement of medical service for Albanian community.
