"Mosenergo" decided not to introduce power supply limitation for Moscow consumers on Saturday and Sunday. As press-service of "Russian United Energy System" informed, on January 21 energy consumption decreased in Moscow region in the view of day off and rise in temperature. "By 11:00 of Saturday energy consumption came to 13600 megawatts - this is the lowest index from the beginning of the week". Insufficient limitation of power supply can be introduced at enterprises of Northern electric networks (Beskudnikovo substation). By refined data, evening peak of energy consumption on Friday evening passed without breakdowns and amounted to 16200 megawatts. On Saturday morning Moscow mayor Yuri Luzhkov tendered thanks to capital enterprises, who declared Thursday and Friday as day offs and Saturday and Sunday as working days. This measure allowed the reduction of electric load in town. In opinion of capital mayor, the city managed with frost satisfactory. "Despite of grand loads in town and problems with power energy I estimate work of municipal service as satisfactory", - he said.
