The fire has occurred in the building of Institute of General Chemistry of Russian Academy of Science, situated in Leninsky avenue in Moscow. According to the words of Russian Emergency Ministry specialists, they received the information about the fire at about 11.22 a.m. Moscow time. The fire is assigned the third difficulty category (of five possible). The firemen state, that the ignition first appeared in the inserted floor between the second and the third floor.
