"It worries us a lot, as walking on ice people take the risk of their lives", said the chief inspector of the information department of the Russian Emergency Ministry Administration in Sevastopol Irina Zvonovaya. This week the Crimean Meteorology centre has fixed the lowest temperature on the peninsula for the last 66 years. On January 24 night temperature minimum of - 29,1 C was noted in settlements Klepino and Nizhegorskoye. These are steppe districts. Lower temperature in the Crimea was fixed only in 1940, when the meteorologists fixed the temperature of -37C.
