Repair operations on the damaged part of "Aksai-Grozny" gas pipeline are completed, operations duty officer of Russian Emergency Ministry in Chechnya has informed on Saturday. "Repair operations have been completed, gas supply has not been resumed yet. The specialist are going to put the pipeline into operation after its being approved", said the official. According to his words, the cause of the damage still stays unknown. Specialists and law machinery officials are working at the scene, they are carrying out the work on circumstances of accident investigation. Pipe break occurred yesterday at about 7.00 a.m. Moscow time near the settlement Byelorechye in Gudermes district. The gas pipeline of 50 cm diameter goes by the bottom of the river Belka. The accident has left without gas settlements of Kurchaloy, Shali and Grozny districts of the Republic, Argun town, Octyabrsky district in Grozny, a part of Gudermes and Nozhai-Yurt. Totally, 20 settlements have been left without gas.
