Russian president Vladimir Putin charged Russian Ministry of Defence to render assistance to Russian General Office of Prosecutor in investigation of cases of unregulated relationships in Chelyabinsk tank school. Speaking on traditional meeting with members of government, the head of the state called these events "tragic" and charged to render assistance to family of soldier Andrey Sychev, who lost both legs as a result of humiliation from elder servicemen. Vladimir Putin has noted that help to family of Sychev should also include solution of housing problem. In the view of the accident in Chelyabinsk the president charged Ministry of Defence to make suggestions of law and educational work in army and fleet. Office of Military Prosecutor over Volga-Ural region instituted criminal proceedings according to article 286, part 3 of Russian Criminal Code (exceeding of commission, which led to grave consequences). By data of Prosecutor, during New Year holidays 8 soldiers were beaten in battalion of educational process maintenance. One of the victims Sychev is in hospital now, doctors amputated him both legs and several vital organs. Today doctors of Chelyabinsk clinical hospital disconnected Sychev from medical ventilation apparatus. If Sychev is able to breathe on his own he will be transferred from reanimation ward. Investigators hope to get testimony after soldier starts to breathe. At present moment Office of military Prosecutor investigates 10 criminal cases connected with crimes in Chelyabinsk school. A criminal case was instituted against director of the school, major-general Victor Sidorov. He tried to conceal information about committed crimes from commands of Volga-Ural military region and Russian land forces. Sidorov reported that surgery was caused by light disease knowing about real causes of legs` amputation. At present moment the accident in tank school has aroused storm of ignition. In future Chelyabinsk tank school will be reorganized. Russian Public Chamber took the case of soldiers` humiliation under control.
