By tentative data, 5 rebels were killed during special operations in Dagestan, which started on Monday morning in Hasavurt. This was informed by press-service of regional Ministry of Interior Affairs. The personality of one rebel has been identified - he is a so-called "commander of North Ichkerian frontier" Lechi Eskiev - emir of Nasterechny, Nayrsky and Shelkovsky districts of Chechen republic. He participated in series of large terrorist actions in Chechnya and Dagestan. During another special operation on crossroad of Sultanov and Beibulatov streets 4 rebels have been annihilated after showing armed resistance. By some information they were allies of Eskiev. Among them is a financier of bandit group. All set explosive devices, ammunition depot were discovered at the place of rebels` location. At present moment active phase of special operation came to the end, sappers work on the place. Official of law machinery has got light injury of leg but refused from hospitalization. There are no victims among population.
