On today`s government meeting in St. Petersburg it was decided to create Interdepartmental commission attached to the government of St. Petersburg on the questions of liquidation arrears of wages and increasing the standards of remuneration of labour in organizations located on the territory of St. Petersburg. The Commission will view the situations of arrears of wages, and also wage payments that are lower than the cost of living for the able-bodied citizens of Petersburg on the basis of the information given by the State Administration of Internal Revenue Service, Office of Public Prosecutor and interested parties. The officials of organizations that have arrears or pay the wage that is lower than the cost of living for the able-bodied citizens of Petersburg will be invited to the sittings of the Commission. As the result of examination of the specific data all the information will be sent to the Main Administration of Internal Affairs of St. Petersburg and Leningrad territory (Administration on Tax Crime), Office of Public Prosecutor, State Supervisory and Control Body for taking measures in accordance with current legislation.
