In the press-cutting service of the capital Prosecutor`s Office it was reported they initiated the criminal case according to the article 207 of the Penal Code of the Russian Federation on the fact of giving the deliberately false information about the act of terrorism in the editorial office of "Moskovsky komsomolec". The "Presnensky" Department of Internal Affairs is investigating the case now.
It should be reminded that stranger called at about 2 o`clock in the afternoon and said there was an explosion in the editorial office of the newspaper. All the editorial stuff was evacuated with the exception of the publishing group, which was busy with the preparation of the Friday issue.
