RosUkrEnergo company, which will supply Ukraine with 34 milliard cubic meters of gas in 2006 and about 60 milliard cubic meters annually till 2010, confirmed the possibility of price correction. This was informed by "Ukrainian Naftogas" with reference to words of RosUkrEnergo executive director Konstantin Chuichenko. He noted that company can initiate price growth in case the purchased for Ukraine Middle Asian and Russian gas rises in price. As was informed earlier, president of Turkmenistan has announced about intention to increase gas prices for Russia in second half of 2006 to $85 for thousand cubic meters. Ukraine hasn`t got this suggestion yet. As Ukrainian premier-minister Yuri Ekhanurov has announced "Ukrainian Naftogas" and RosUkrEnergo agreed to create mutual enterprise "Ukrgas-Energo" yesterday. According to regulations new enterprise has no rights to own, control, use or dispose of Ukrainian gas-transport objects. It will be involved only in gas purchase on Ukrainian territory. New enterprise has already signed contract with RosUkrEnergo on gas purchase at price of $95 for thousand cubic meters for 5 years.
