Acting Chechen premier-minister Ramzan Kadyrov was indignant at publication of prophet Mohammed caricatures. Kadyrov regarded these pictures insulting for Muslims.
"If we let the belief to become a mockery at initial stage, these processes will spread as cancer tumor and will lead to catastrophic consequences for world community", - announced Kadyrov. He reminded that Islam religion categorically prohibits any depiction of the prophet.
Caricatures on Mohammed were published in Dutch newspaper Jyllands-Posten in September of last year. At one picture Mohammed wears turban in shape of a bomb with burning fuse. Another caricature depicts Muslim prophet in image of a nomad armed with a knife in a company of 2 women in black clothes.
After numerous protests of Muslims editor-in-chief of Jyllands-Posten presented official apologies. But caricatures were reprinted in the beginning of February by several European periodicals.
