Last year`s winner of Tokyo tennis tournament Pan Pacific Open Maria Sharapova has unexpectedly lost to Swiss Martina Hinges in semi-final. The prize fund of the tournament amounts to $1340 thousands. Before match Maria was nervous but promised to play active on Martina`s servings. But Sharapova couldn`t realize the plan - she took none of rival`s servings and therefore the duel has lasted for about an hour. In first set Russian tennis-player has lost with score - 3:6, and played even worse during second set - 1:6. In key match of the tournament ex-first racket of the world will meet with another Russian sportswoman Elena Dementeva, who defeated her friend by team Russian Anastasia Myskina with score 6:4, 3:6, 6:4.
