Weather forecast of 60-degree frosts in Magadan oblast has been unwarranted. The lowest Saturday temperature has reached -47 degrees centigrade, and lowest Sunday temperature - 48 degrees. Such low temperatures have been registered in Susumansky and Omsukchansky districts. Before weekends state of emergency was declared in 6 central regions of Magadan oblast. Temperature drop till -56┘-61 degrees was expected in Srednekansky, North Evensky and Omsukchansky districts. It is -51┘-56 degrees in Susmansky, Tenkinsky and Khasynsky districts. Carriage of passengers along these territories is limited; adults are advised not to let children outdoors and to stay home themselves. Regime of high readiness for service has been introduced in housing and communal enterprises, energetic objects, fire fighting posts, hospitals, Ministry of Emergency and regional administration of Interior Affairs. But temperatures at Kolyma didn`t fall till record low limits. Official observance of weather in Magadan oblast has started in 1936. The lowest registered temperature of -54 degrees centigrade was registered in Kegali village of North Evensky district in 1964.
