In 2007 the record low number of children will go to first form of school. It must become some sort of threshold, after which gradual growth of number of junior pupils is expected. According to the chairman of Perm region Administration Education Department Alexander Zimin, considerable growth of the number of schoolchildren may be expected in 10-15 years, when today pupils become parents themselves. Perm region Administration Education Department official informed, that there are 266 thousand of children studying at schools of Kama region, many teenagers under 17 attend evening schools. Totally the number of people attending evening schools is about 10 112 . According to specialists, there are no solid intervals between the years of the highest and the lowest number of schoolchildren. The number of schoolchildren, according to the employee of Perm region Administration Education Department Irina Ivanova, "depends on country weather". Alexandr Zimin noted, that an important role plays "people`s activity". For example, in 1998 to 2001, birth rate was reducing in Perm region, and since 2002 birthrate increased.
