After introduction of additional payments to district doctors and nurses their number has increased sufficiently. This was informed by minister of Russian health protection and social development Mikhail Zurabov. By his data, number of district doctors and nurses in the country has grown from 56 thousands to 67 thousands people. "Financiers have ground for being upset but this is a positive tendency anyways", - said Zurabov.
