Georgia has no intention to return documents of 3 Russian officers until the end of investigation. Confiscated identity cards of 3 Russian officers, who have been detained because of passport regime violation and are already released, will be returned after the end of investigation. This was announced by Georgian minister on conflict regulation George Haindrava. "Conveyance of 3 detained officers to Russian Ministry of Defense was an act of free will. But investigation continues, therefore Georgian law machinery has left their document. After investigation ends documents will be handed to Russian Embassy", - said Haindrava. By his words, "illegal crossing of a frontier is a penal action in Georgia and Russia". As a reminder, 3 Russian officers, who arrived to Georgia through Rocks tunnel for investigation of the incident with detainment of peace-maker`s KamAZ lorry, were arrested in zone of Georgian-Osetin conflict on February 8. The ground for arrest is absence of visa. At the same moment press-service of Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that "Russian servicemen need no entry documents while entering South Osetin territory". Russian officers were released 3 days later without military service record cards and passports. At present moment Russian officers are in Vladikavkaz.
